At the meeting, Mr. Ngo Dung Thai thanked the provincial leaders for taking the time to receive the delegation. He also stated that Binh Duong is one of the localities that generates significant revenue for VNPT, with an annual revenue of approximately 1,000 billion VND. The corporation hopes that Binh Duong will facilitate VNPT's deployment of the 5G network in the province to serve the government, businesses, and residents. In addition, VNPT also wishes to participate in supporting the province in building infrastructure for digital transformation, administrative reform, and the development of e-government.

Welcoming the Group's proposal, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee stated that Binh Duong is accelerating digital transformation, promoting science and technology development, administrative reform, and building e-government. Therefore, the province highly anticipates VNPT's early deployment of a 5G network in the province to establish a strong and widespread telecommunications infrastructure system, serving Binh Duong's development.

The Provincial Party Secretary further informed that Binh Duong is currently undertaking the necessary steps and procedures to invest in a Science and Technology Industrial Park to attract high-tech enterprises, with priority given to semiconductor chip manufacturing companies. With the tasks assigned by the Government to VNPT, the Provincial Party Secretary expressed his hope that the Group would consider choosing Binh Duong as a location for semiconductor chip production. At the same time, VNPT could participate in science and technology projects and technical infrastructure to serve the province's digital transformation.
On behalf of the Group, Mr. Ngo Dung Thai expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee for facilitating VNPT's investment and development in Binh Duong. VNPT will continue to implement investment projects and research projects as requested by the Provincial Party Secretary.
