At the reception, Mr. Bui Minh Tri - Vice Chairman of the PPC provided an overview of the province's socio-economic development, while highly appreciating the contributions of Japanese businesses to the province's overall success over the past years.

Overview of the reception
To date, Japan ranks second out of 65 countries and territories with investment projects in Binh Duong province, with 365 projects totaling over 6 billion USD in registered investment capital. Among them are some prominent projects by Tokyu Group, Wonderful Saigon Electrics Co., Ltd., Maruchi Sun Steel Co., Ltd., Saigon Stec Co., Ltd., Aeon Group, etc.

Mr. Bui Minh Tri -Vice Chairman of the PPC further shared the province's investment attraction orientation for the coming period. Accordingly, Binh Duong prioritizes attracting investment in high-tech industries, semiconductor technology, green energy, green economy, and circular economy; as well as advanced, environmentally friendly, less labor-intensive sectors that generate high added value. By 2030, the province is expected to have 42 industrial parks with a total area ranging from 18,600 hectares to 21,000 hectares. In addition, Binh Duong is also focusing on developing its transportation network connecting to Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeast region.

Mr. KUME KUNIHIDE expressed his impression of the province's socio-economic development achievements and highly appreciated the province's directions in investment attraction and promotion.
He stated that JCCH currently has 1,061 members, mainly concentrated in: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Long An, and Ba Ria – Vung Tau. The Association operates with the goal of connecting and assisting its members, jointly contributing to promoting Viet Nam's economic development, and encouraging economic exchange activities between Viet Nam and Japan... Mr. KUME KUNIHIDE expressed confidence that in the coming time, Binh Duong and Japanese enterprises will continue to have many more cooperation opportunities in their respective strong fields.
