During the term 2019 - 2024, the Viet Nam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Binh Duong province (referred to as the Association) has had strong and comprehensive development in many fields, with a widespread in the locality and our neighboring country.
Diplomatic reception work is always proactively and promptly carried out by the Association on the occasion of holidays and Tet in our neighboring country. The Association's leaders regularly participate with provincial leaders, departments, branches, and organizations to receive the Cambodian delegation to visit, study, exchange experiences, and cooperate, strengthening friendly exchanges.

In the term, the Association has established 02 new Branches, bringing the total number of Branches to 12, with more than 600 members.
The Association advised on the construction of 01 Kratie - Binh Duong Friendship Bridge and 01 Kratie - Binh Duong Friendship Building in Kratie province with a total cost of 17.4 billion VND.
At the same time, scholarships were awarded to 621 Cambodian and Laotian students studying at the Provincial Engineering Officer School (Ngo Quyen University), with a total amount of more than 396 million VND on the occasion of the annual Cambodian Traditional New Year, Chol Chnam Thmay.
In addition, many social charity programs have been organized in Kandal and Kratie provinces with a total amount of nearly 14 billion VND.
The Congress set out directions and tasks, for the term 2024 – 2029. In particular, focusing on researching and mastering the basic contents of Plan No. 70-KH/TU of the Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee and Action Program No. 14/ Member of the Union of Provincial Friendship Organizations; Maintaining and strengthening proactive coordination with relevant departments, branches, and organizations to effectively deploy people-to-people friendly exchange activities in the province; Building a quality Association organization, ensuring structure and quantity requirements, etc.
The Congress elected the Association's Executive Committee with 31 members and the Association's Inspection Committee with 5 members Mr. Le Minh Chi - Former Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command as Chairman of the 4th term Association.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Loc Ha acknowledged and appreciated the achievements the Association has achieved in the past term and basically agreed with the direction and tasks in term 2024 - 2029.
He proposed that the Association continue to effectively strengthen the Party's leadership and improve the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy in the new situation; innovating content and operating methods so that the Association can increasingly develop and operate effectively; Promote propaganda work on the Party's foreign policies and guidelines and the State's foreign policy.
