Accordingly, Binh Duong currently ranks third in Viet Nam in attracting foreign investment capital, with over 4,345 investment projects from 65 countries and territories, and a total registered capital of over 41 billion USD. Particularly, there are 550 investment projects from China, with a total capital of over 1.7 billion USD, accounting for 13% of the total number of projects and 4% of the total FDI capital in the province.
Representatives of local government leaders and businesses in Binh Duong's typical industries of wood processing, textiles, footwear, handbags, mechanics, electricity, ceramics, lacquer, sculpture, logistics, renewable energy, import and export, etc., along with enterprises, corporations, companies, law offices, educational organizations of China and nearly 30 enterprises of Anhui province (China) which are currently investing and manufacturing in Binh Duong also informed, exchanged and asked many questions about opportunities for cooperation and mutual investment.
Mr. Du Yue Quan – Chairman of Guangxi Oupu Science Technology JSC said that over the past few days, the Delegation of Anhui Province had visited many places in Binh Duong and witnessed the province's favorable environment and development. It was an important premise for businesses in Anhui and Binh Duong to have more explore cooperation programs between the business communities of the two provinces; especially in high-tech, semiconductor, green energy, green economy, circular economy, financial services, logistics, and other modern services.
