The Provincial Innovation Index (PII), developed by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), is a useful tool to comprehensively, objectively, and systematically evaluate the current state of science-technology and innovation activities in each locality.
According to the PII 2023 Report published by the MOST, Binh Duong province reached 48.64 points, ranking 8th in the country, and 3rd in the number of leading indexes, with 7 indexes out of 52 component indexes. For the Southeast region, Binh Duong has the 3rd highest PII score.
