Accordingly, the Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) will effectively carry out the activities of the Month of Action on occupational safety and hygiene, fire prevention and fighting in 2024; deploy legal documents guiding the Law on Occupational Safety and Hygiene to enterprises, organizations and individuals, raising awareness and responsibility of employers and leaders to ensure safe working conditions and occupational hygiene for employees during the working process and at the workplace.
At the same time, DOLISA will regularly inspect and examine occupational safety and hygiene at enterprises and business establishments, especially in areas with high risks of occupational accidents such as construction works, confined workspaces, places using equipment with strict requirements on occupational safety (boilers, pressure equipment, lifting equipment, refrigeration systems, etc.), and electricity. It will also regularly inspect and examine organizations and enterprises with the function of training on occupational safety and hygiene; conduct technical safety inspections of machinery, equipment, and materials with strict requirements on occupational safety; handle organizations and individuals violating regulations on occupational safety and hygiene, etc.
