At the meeting, H.E. Mr. Keijo Norvanto emphasized that Viet Nam and Finland have had 50 years of establishing diplomatic relations. The long-standing traditional partnership between the two countries is consolidated and developed through many practical projects in wastewater treatment, drinking water production, and the wood industry. The socio-economic strengths of the two countries have complemented each other and helped both develop more stably, sustainably, and prosperously. Viet Nam has become Finland's largest trading partner in Southeast Asia. In particular, Binh Duong is one of Viet Nam's most dynamic and potentially developing localities, which has opened many opportunities for cooperation and investment in science and technology that aim for sustainable economic development.
