​During the working visit to the leaders of Henan Province (China), the Chairman of the PPC Vo Van Minh briefly presented the socio-economy as well as the development orientation of Binh Duong in the coming time. Accordingly, Binh Duong is located in the Southeast region of Viet Nam, which is a great location, potential, and convenient for logistics development with an international intermodal port of the Southern provinces and Central Highlands at Song Than Station, Di An City. In recent years, Binh Duong Province has always been evaluated as one of the leading localities in Viet Nam in terms of socio-economic development and in the speed of attracting foreign direct investment capital.

The provincial leaders also exchange with Chinese partners on management experience and local socio-economic development. The two sides discussed cooperation opportunities in fields such as logistics, industry, agriculture, tourism, education, human resource training, etc.

Ms. Zhang Min – Vice Governor of Henan Province expressed her impression of the socio-economic development of Binh Duong, especially its development of the industrial sector. She said that Binh Duong province and Henan province had many similarities in culture and geography, so this meeting was an important premise for strengthening economic cooperation, developing bilateral trade as well as learning and exchanging experiences, especially in terms of transport and connecting rail transport, e.g. Zhengzhou (China) to Europe transport route. This meeting also contributed to the development and strengthening of two-way import and export turnover between Henan and Viet Nam, bringing high-quality Chinese agricultural products to Vietnamese consumers and vice versa.

In the framework of this business trip in China, the Delegation also visited and worked with senior leaders of Wanbang International Agricultural Co., Ltd., a multinational corporation headquartered in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. The Group's main business activities include operating agricultural markets, fresh food, cold chain logistics, e-commerce, technology research and development, import and export trade, etc.

The Delegation highly appreciated the operation and service of the Group's agricultural wholesale market, which is the focal point for providing agricultural and aquatic products to more than 400 million people in four central provinces of China. They hoped to cooperate in the future to create high-quality products and promote the economic development of both localities.

Through the introduction and field survey, the delegation hoped to promote cooperation in developing wholesale markets in Binh Duong province, contributing to promoting the export and import of goods in the coming time.

The Zhengzhou China Europe Train Assembly Center of Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Co., Ltd is also one of the important destinations during the working visit of the Binh Duong provincial delegation in Henan province.

Zhengzhou Dry Port is one of the important ports in China, especially for transporting goods between China and Europe. With a favorable geographical location and modern infrastructure system, Zhengzhou Dry Port plays an important role in improving the ability to transport goods between the two continents.

During the visit and working session at Zhengzhou Dry Port, the Binh Duong Provincial delegation was introduced to the port's operating procedures, as well as opportunities for cooperation in the field of logistics and freight transportation. This was an important step to expand cooperation between Binh Duong and Chinese partners, especially in the fields of supply chain management and transportation.

Next, the delegation surveyed the furniture supply and display chain model in Foshan City, Guangdong Province (China). Foshan City is the furniture capital of China, with more than 10 km and tens of thousands of famous furniture and interior decoration brands around the world and China. Wooden furniture is also a strength of Binh Duong province. Coming to the world of furniture in Foshan helped the delegation learn more about the cooperation and industry development potential and opportunities as well as export and economic development for the region.

On April 5, 2024, the delegation visited the headquarters of Manwah Group in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province (China). As a major supplier of sofas and wooden furniture, Manwah Group has continued to expand its investment in Binh Duong province, which is a part of the Group's global strategy and structure. Visiting the company headquarters, the delegation believed that the Group would continue to expand investment in Binh Duong Province and jointly develop the global industry and furniture industry in Binh Duong Province.
