The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet - former Politburo member, former State President, and Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.According to the report, to date, the IOC of Ben Cat town has integrated data from 22 subsystems with 260 indicators, covering all fields and industries, i.e., economy - society, finance - planning, natural resources - environment, internal affairs, justice, inspection, labor - war invalids, health, education, culture and information, urban management, public administration, statistics, police, etc.

Ben Cat town expected that the IOC would effectively serve and support in leadership, direction, and administration, helping town leaders have a comprehensive overview of all aspects of socio-economic activities. By that means, the leaders could make decisions promptly and accurately, saving time and effort in the process of monitoring and managing work.

Ms. Tran Thi Thao – Vice Chairwoman of the Ben Cat Town People's Committee said: "Establishing the Ben Cat town's IOC is an important step towards effective and efficient digital government. However, for the town's IOC to truly become the "brain" serving smart urban management, the town hopes to receive attention, support, and coordination in terms of mechanisms and policies, professional expertise, and sharing experiences of provincial departments and branches with localities in managing and operating IOC in the coming time. By that means, the town could steadily step towards the goal of becoming Ben Cat City in 2024 and become a smart city in the near future.
