​At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the PPC Nguyen Loc Ha shared an overview of the socio-economic development situation, investment attraction, and foreign affairs information of Binh Duong province. Binh Duong currently ranks 2^nd in the country in attracting foreign investment capital, after Ho Chi Minh City. The entire province currently has nearly 4,200 investment projects from 65 countries and territories with a total registered capital of more than 40 billion USD. In particular, the United States ranks 10^th among 65 countries and territories with investment projects in Binh Duong province with 135 investment projects and a total capital of 1.36 billion USD. The main investment fields are electricity, electronics, logistics, ceramic tiles and sanitary wares, wooden furniture and interior decoration, cosmetics, garments and embroidery, and export textile products with several enterprises with large investment projects such as P&G Company, Kimberly-Clark Viet Nam Ltd, Pacific Textile Limited Company, Huyck Wangner Viet Nam Co., Ltd, Colgate-Palmolive (Viet Nam) Company Limited - My Phuoc Branch, Golden Spirits (Viet Nam) Inc, etc.

On behalf of the delegation, Ms. Katherine Lam highly appreciated the dynamic development of Binh Duong province in all fields, especially the province's foreign investment attraction. She said Oregon is the 9^th largest state in the United States with more than 4 million people and a GDP in 2022 of over 234 billion USD. Oregon has strengths in production, manufacturing processing, and high-tech industries, especially computer, semiconductor, electronic equipment, and software manufacturing. Viet Nam and Oregon had good friendly relations after Oregon was chosen by the Federal Government as the focal point to promote the Viet Nam - United States partnership. For Binh Duong, Portland State University is a strategic partner of Eastern International University (EIU), actively supporting EIU in building and developing training programs.

Based on the good relationship between the two sides, she hoped that the leaders of Binh Duong province would continue to create the best conditions for US enterprises in general and enterprises from the state of Oregon, USA in particular, to cooperate and invest in Binh Duong province, especially in the fields of semiconductors and high-quality human resource training.

Vice Chairman of the PPC Nguyen Loc Ha affirmed that Binh Duong prioritizes attracting investment in high-tech, advanced, environmentally friendly, less labor-intensive industries and fields that create high added value. He hoped that the Delegation of Oregon State Government, USA, would continue to market and promote so that American enterprises could come to Binh Duong to invest. The province is committed to creating favorable conditions for investment cooperation activities to achieve the highest efficiency.
