Reporting on the compensation implementation of NH13 site clearance projects, the People's Committees of Thu Dau Mot City and Thuan An City said that the NH13 site clearance project (section from Tu Do intersection to Le Hong Phong crossroads) in Thu Dau Mot city and Thuan An city has 132 cases, of which 128 cases (106 households and 23 organizations) belong to Thuan An city and 27 cases (26 households and 01 organization) belong to Thu Dau Mot city. Up to now, the site clearance has reached 90%, the goal is to complete all the remaining volume in November 2022 and hand over the site of the project in December 2022. The site clearance project from Ong Bo Bridge to Huu Nghi intersection has 102 cases (91 households, 11 organizations and enterprises within the scope of clearance). Thuan An City People's Committee has issued a notice of land acquisition in 101/102 cases. Currently waiting for the approval of the unit price to take the next steps to ensure that the disbursement in the fourth quarter reaches 95% of the total project compensation estimate. The site clearance project from Vinh Phu welcome gate to Ong Bo Bridge has a total of 255 households and 42 organizations affected, and is carrying out inventory of assets, appraisal of plan for survey, measurement, tally and notice of land acquisition. After the compensation unit price is approved, in December 2022, about 20-30% of the total project compensation estimate will be paid.

To ensure the project schedule, the People's Committees of Thu Dau Mot City and Thuan An City suggested that the province soon approve the compensation price plan for cases in the section from Vinh Phu welcome gate to Huu Nghi intersection so that the localities can propagate and pay compensation to the people. At the same time, paying attention to the arrangement of land fund to implement resettlement areas for households having their houses and land cleared. The localities also proposed the establishment of a propaganda and advocacy group to create consensus among the people.

For households having their houses and land cleared, the locality needs to arrange resettlement areas to ensure quality to serve the living and business needs of the people. The site clearance must be carried out according to the rolling and synchronous plan. The Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that the Provincial People's Council and the Department of Justice continue to study the provisions of the law and issue documents to create a legal basis for the project to be implemented on schedule.
