At the meeting, the delegates respectfully remembered the great merits of President Ho Chi Minh and the heroes, martyrs, comrades and compatriots who sacrificed for the independence and unification of the Fatherland and for the happiness of the people.
Giving a speech to review the nation's heroic revolutionary tradition, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed that the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam are the results of our people's long, resilient and indomitable struggle under the wise and ingenious leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh; are a victory of the great national unity, from the passionate patriotic tradition, bravery, wisdom and unyielding will of the Vietnamese people which were highly promoted under the correct and ingenious leadership of the Indochinese Communist Party and then President Ho Chi Minh at that time. The victory of the August Revolution is also a victory crystallized from the support and belief of the majority of the masses and the people towards the leadership of the Communist Party.

Inheriting and promoting the tradition, revolutionary heroic mettle in the resistance war as well as the achievements of the former Song Be province, after 25 years of construction and development, with the great efforts and determination of the entire Party, army, people, and enterprise community, Binh Duong province has achieved very important achievements in the cause of national construction and defense. The province has well mobilized all resources, created a consensus among the people to turn Binh Duong into a dynamically developing industrial province in the Southern Key Economic Region; economic structure shifted in the right direction, economic sectors continued to develop in both quantity and scale, competitiveness, high economic growth rate, people's living standard continued to be improved.
Although heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the province has synchronously implemented many solutions to help the economy overcome difficulties to recover and develop. Gross region domestic product (GRDP) in the first six months of 2022 increased by 6.84%; industry - construction increased by 7.85%; production value of agriculture, forestry and fishery increased by 2.95%; services increased by 6.06% over the same period in 2021. Binh Duong was recognized by the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) as in the TOP 7 Communities with smart development strategies in the world after 3 consecutive times in TOP 21 (Smart 21). The socio-cultural field has had many important changes, the material and spiritual life of the people has been significantly improved and raised.
"We deeply believe that, under the new conditions, the entire Party Committee and people of Binh Duong will continue to promote the heroic tradition in combat, the offensive spirit of the August Revolution, and determined to successfully carry out the political tasks set out; enthusiastically create patriotic emulation movements, continue to study and work according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; promote the strength of solidarity, the will to self-reliance, self-support, the spirit of national pride and national self-esteem, overcoming all difficulties and challenges, restore economic development after the Covid-19 pandemic, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, the 11th Provincial Party Congress, 2020-2025 tenure, striving to build Binh Duong province to develop sustainably in the direction of a smart, civilized and modern city" - Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao emphasized.

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day -September 02, Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee awarded and posthumously awarded Party Badges to 332 party members. This is the recognition of the Party for the dedication of its members to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland and the development of Binh Duong province.
At the meeting, the Provincial Party Committee organized to award the 60-year Party membership badge to 04 party members; 55-year Party membership badge to 04 party members; 45-year Party membership badge to 03 party members; 40-year Party membership badge to 02 party members.
