At the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee gave a speech to review the heroic traditions of our army and people in the struggle for national liberation and reunification. The speech stated: "April 30, 1975 - The great victory day of the whole nation, proving the great stature of the intellect and bravery of the Vietnamese people in the Ho Chi Minh era under the leadership of the Vietnamese Communist Party. During the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign, the army and people of Thu Dau Mot conducted an uprising to completely defeat the puppet army, smash the puppet government apparatus, and liberate the homeland; contributed to paving the way for our main armies on the offensive north of Saigon from Binh Duong to quickly attack the last stronghold of the puppet regime, successfully ending the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, liberate the South, unify the country".

In the remaining months of 2022, it is forecasted that the situation will continue to be difficult because the Covid-19 pandemic has a negative impact on the economy of our country in general and the province in particular, requiring the entire political system to strive with the highest determination.
