As reported by the Department of Health, in the past 7 days (April 04-11, 2022), the province recorded 2,652 cases of Covid-19 (down 51.6% from last week); on average 379 new cases were announced every day.
Assessing the pandemic level in the province in the past week, there were 84 communes, wards and towns of level 1 (increasing by 23 communes, wards and towns); 06 communes, wards and towns of level 2 (reducing 08 communes, wards and towns); 01 commune, ward and town of level 3 (reducing 15 communes, wards and towns).
Regarding vaccination, cumulatively 377,832 doses have been vaccinated to children aged 12-17. In which, 1st dose: 199,101 doses (reaching 119.63% of the population); 2nd dose: 178,731 doses (reaching 99.3% compared to the population and reaching 89.77% compared to 1st dose). For people 18 years and older: 6,098.441 doses. In which, 3rd dose: 1,591,474 doses (reaching 81.8% of the population and 80.2% compared to 2nd dose).
Currently, localities continue to arrange concentrated vaccination sites which are mobile and flexible in terms of time, organize vaccination at night to create the most favorable conditions for all people to receive vaccines in a timely manner. The Department of Health has issued a document to guide, develop a plan, and prepare to be eligible for vaccination so that it can be deployed as soon as the vaccine is distributed for Covid-19 infections and for children from 5 to under 12 years old. As reported by the Department of Education and Training, through the province-wide survey, there are 262,113 students aged 5-11 who are eligible for vaccination.
For children aged 5 to under 12 years who have had Covid-19 after recovering for at least 3 months, vaccinating the basic doses of same vaccine for children (Pfizer or Moderna). Subjects over 12 years old who have had Covid-19 receive the vaccine after 3-6 months of recovery.

At the meeting, the departments, branches and localities reported on the pandemic situation in the past week, the preparation of vaccination for children 5-11 years old, code identification; data entry, statistics on vaccination needs of workers in industrial parks; the situation of pandemic prevention and control in schools, etc.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha asked the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Health to discuss and agree on guiding localities to write identification codes for children aged 5 years and older. Binh Duong is a province with a fluctuating population, so he asked localities to continue reviewing and campaigning to propagandize people who have vaccination certificates but have not been entered to register for vaccine passport.
At the same time, the Health branch soon has full instructions, mechanisms, policies, plans, and a roadmap to establish a fixed medical station according to the model of over 15,000 people/1 station, and soon organize a post-Covid-19 workshop. The Provincial Industrial Zones Authority continues to preside over the vaccination for workers, continues to review the list, monitor weekly data to organize vaccination for workers at factories and enterprises.
