​PORTAL - On the morning of April 04, at the Administrative Center of Binh Duong Province, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired an online meeting between the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control and 9 districts, towns and cities.

​Deploying vaccination for the remaining until the end of April 2022

As reported by the Department of Health, in the past 7 days (March 28-April 03, 2022), the province recorded 6,254 cases of Covid-19 (down 51.9% from last week); on average, 893 new cases were announced every day. The number of recovered, discharged, and completed treatment cases was 12,768 (down 53% from last week), the average daily was 1,824 cases of recovery, discharge and completion of treatment.

The pandemic situation in the province in the past week, there were 61 communes, wards and towns at level 1 (increasing by 17 communes, wards and towns); 14 communes, wards and towns at level 2 (reducing 02 communes, wards and towns); and 16 communes, wards and towns at level 3 (reducing 15 communes, wards and towns).

Regarding vaccination, after inspecting, reviewing and adjusting the population data eligible for vaccination (the number of people who have left the locality is 143,258 people, of which: the number of people aged 18 and over is 121,006 people), the number of people age 12-17, the rate of 2nd dose/population eligible for vaccination reaches 122.26% and the rate of eligible 2nd dose/1st dose reaches 95.19%. For people aged 18 and over, the rate of 3rd dose/population eligible for vaccination is 94.3% and the rate of 3rd dose/2nd dose eligible reaches 89.6%.

Binh Duong deploys vaccination for the remaining in April 2022

In the coming time, the Department of Health will continue to develop a plan to vaccinate the 1st, 2nd and 3rd doses for all remaining people in the province and people from other provinces coming to Binh Duong to work in April 2022. Coordinating with the Department of Information and Communications and the Provincial Police to process and review all the province's Covid-19 vaccination data to upload to the National Immunization Management System according to the actual vaccination data in Binh Duong. Implementing the Covid-19 vaccination campaign for children age 5-11 in the province when the vaccine is distributed by the Ministry of Health. Making a procurement plan to ensure sufficient quantity and right type suitable for the new situation; carrying out bidding, procurement of medicine, biological products, supplies, medical equipment, etc. especially items for pandemic prevention and control in accordance with regulations, ensuring publicity, transparency, strictness, prevention of negative, waste, corruption, strengthening inspection and supervision in bidding and procurement. Along with that, well implementing pandemic prevention and control in schools. Coordinating with the Education and Training branch to advise the Provincial Steering Committee to arrange face-to-face or online learning or a reasonable combination of both forms of learning. Continuing to do well the work of protecting and taking care of "at-risk groups" of Covid-19 infections for good treatment, in order to reduce mortality and severe complications. Strengthening pandemic prevention and control at medical examination and treatment establishments, production and business establishments, companies, enterprises and agencies. Continuing to maintain and develop the grassroots health system.

Regarding data entry, Mr. Le Tuan Anh - Director of the Department of Information and Communications said that up to now, 66,385,000 doses have been entered, of which 6,135,000 doses are entered for subjects aged 18 and over 250,000 doses aged 12-17. To prepare vaccination for children aged 5-11, the Department has closely coordinated with the Department of Education and Training and localities, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to make a list and add identification codes, in case there is no identification code, the Health Insurance card will be added by taking the last 9 numbers. In case of children with temporary residence, the Police branch will issue an identification code. However, for children with temporary residence, there will be a delay in contacting the local Police where they live, so the Health Insurance code will be used. At the same time this morning (April 04), the Ministry of Health is organizing a training session on how to issue "vaccine passports", the Department will continue to update more according to the guidance of the Ministry of Health.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Dut - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, in the past time, the Provincial Police have coordinated with the local Police to issue the identification codes, but it is still slow, reaching only 60%. The Provincial police are focusing on drastically implementing this issue. The training of the Ministry of Health to issue "Covid passports" will be the basis for the province to complete vaccination data. After training, the Provincial Steering Committee needs to quickly direct the drastic implementation.

Early vaccination, quick vaccination and ensuring effectiveness and safety

In addition to maintaining pandemic prevention and control, in April 2022, relevant localities, departments and branches are focusing resources on vaccinating children age 5-11. According to the Provincial Center for Disease Control (CDC), through a survey, the province has about 275,000 children aged 5-11. Accordingly, the provincial CDC noted that localities closely manage and compile statistics on the number of children eligible for vaccination, eliminate cases that are not eligible for injection, and need to make accurate statistics on the number of children infected with Covid-19 by age group, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health.

The report at the meeting showed that most localities and units have prepared early vaccination plans for children aged 5-11. Mr. Pham Van Bay - Vice Chairman of Di An City People's Committee said that during the week, the pandemic situation decreased deeply in all aspects, the data entry reached 87%. To prepare for vaccination for children aged 5-11, the city has developed a plan, propagated and distributed a survey with 71.3% of parents agreeing to vaccinate, the city continues to propagate and advocate for the rest. The city has arranged vaccination force, support force, vaccination site in the spirit of early vaccination, quick vaccination and ensuring effectiveness and safety.

Thuan An city currently has 58,216 children aged 5-11, including 5,000 children from the community. The city is ready for the preparation of vaccinations for children aged 5-11.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha noted that branches and localities must closely manage the statistical situation of the number of children aged 5-11 who are eligible for vaccination, eliminate cases of children with Covid-19, classify by route, develop a plan to review the need for vaccination to allocate closer to reality. The Health branch specifically guides children infected with Covid-19 when they will be vaccinated.

In the coming time, he asked the Health branch to rearrange collection and treatment facilities in the direction that there will be no Mobile medical stations, but will deploy Fixed medical stations according to the model of 15,000 people/1 medical station. At the same time, implementing the vaccination plan for the remaining, in April 2022, 90% must be completed according to the regulations of the Central Government. Strengthening propaganda so that people can inject correctly and fully according to the guidance of the Health branch. The Department of Information and Communications is assigned to be responsible for unifying the data entered.
