At the meeting, the delegation listened to the Di An City Party Committee report on the implementation results of political, economic and social tasks in 2021. Accordingly, during the year, the City Standing Party Committee focused on leading the Party executive committees, authorities, Fatherland Front Committees and socio-political organizations from the city to the grassroots to organize the implementation of tasks according to the proposed resolutions, programs and plans. However, due to the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic, the city as well as other localities had to implement distancing and have a period of time to implement "lockdown, freeze", this has directly affected the performance of the city's socio-economic development tasks in 2021.

In 2021, the value of industrial - commercial, service - agricultural production of Di An city is estimated at 118,588 billion VND - 64,118 billion VND - 23.3 billion VND, equaling 102.39% - 54.47 % - 96.5% of the 2021 plan. Budget revenue is 2,965,958 billion VND, equaling 109.69% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Committee and the Resolution of the City People's Council; budget expenditure is 1,997,861 billion VND, equaling 157% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Committee and the Resolution of the City People's Council.

After listening to the report of the Di An City Party Committee, the delegates in the Delegation also made many comments related to the following contents: Site clearance; construction schedule of key works and projects; urban development and embellishment; traffic, technical infrastructure; commerce-services, logistics; upgrading the city's medical center into a level 1 hospital, developing grassroots medical care, promoting medical socialization, providing medical examination and treatment on demand; ensuring security and order; promoting administrative reform; improving the quality of urban environmental management, etc.

Concluding at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi acknowledged the efforts of all levels and branches; the efforts and consensus of all classes of people and the enterprise community in Di An city that have overcome difficulties and challenges, persevered, and determined to realize "dual goal" and achieved important results in the implementation of socio-economic development goals in 2021.

From now until the end of 2021, the forecast of the pandemic situation is still complicated; the risk of forming outbreaks, spreading and breaking out on a very large scale. In order to fulfill the socio-economic development goals and targets for both 2021 and 2022, the Provincial Party Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee asked Di An City to continue to focus on the top priority for the Covid-19 prevention and control. In which, proactively improving the forecasting capacity, perfecting scenarios and plans for pandemic prevention and control with specific situations, especially in the management of F0 treatment, F1 quarantine at the grassroots, remotely, early. Improving capacity of Mobile medical stations, ensuring the proactive and safe adaptation, flexibly, close to the situation, with high feasibility.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that Di An city need to focus on implementing safe, flexible and effective adaptation to ensure the goal of both Covid-19 prevention and control, stability and socio-economic development, maintaining growth momentum. Along with that, Di An city needs to continue to review, quickly and completely remove difficulties and obstacles; handle backlog issues and bottlenecks; continue to take care of the people's health and life, and ensure social security. At the same time, Di An city needs to continue to promote the spirit of initiative and creativity to perform well the set tasks. In particular, special attention is paid to issues such as: Continuing to do well in land planning, focusing on public investment and disbursement of public investment, must be consistent with the goal of quality urban planning; focusing more strongly on compensation and clearance; creating consensus of people and enterprises in urban development, etc.
