PORTAL - In order to proactively detect, trace, identify and quarantine all existing F0 confirmed cases in the community of Binh Duong province, the Provincial People's Committee promulgates an Express Plan on organizing to take samples for large-scale Covid-19 screening test by rapid test or Realtime-PCR method for people in Binh Duong province.
Accordingly, the province plans to sample 1,789,547 people. In which the pooled sample of 3 people for rapid antigen test: 428,542 samples and pooled sample of 10 people for Realtime-PCR: 50,392 samples.
For localities and areas with pandemic and high risk (Di An City, Thuan An City, Thu Dau Mot City, Ben Cat Town, Tan Uyen Town, Dau Tieng District), taking samples at factories, manufactories, boarding houses, markets, etc. (except for areas under lockdown for medical quarantine and concentrated quarantine areas). For localities, areas without pandemic and low risk (Bac Tan Uyen district, Bau Bang district, Phu Giao district), only testing for 20% of the population.
Sampling will be deployed in 12 days, starting from July 17, 2021. Depending on the actual conditions in the locality, arranging sampling points accordingly. In hot and sunny conditions, sampling will be carried out according to the time from 06:00 to 09:00 in the morning, from 04:00 to 07:00 in the afternoon.
The number of sampling teams is expected to include 350 at district level and 400 at provincial level. The human resources for Realtime-PCR testing of pooled samples will be responsible by Viet A Company; Realtime-PCR testing of individual samples will be responsible by the Provincial Center for Disease Control.
Previously, on July 13, 2021, the Provincial People's Committee promulgated the Plan no. 3156/KH-UBND on organizing to take samples for large-scale Covid-19 screening test by Realtime-PCR method for people in Binh Duong province and the Coordination Subcommittee on Testing and Vaccination promulgated the Framework Plan no. 101/KH-TBCD dated July 09, 2021 on the implementation of SARS-CoV-2 testing for Covid-19 prevention and control in Binh Duong province. However, in the face of the increasing pandemic situation in the province, the Provincial People's Committee promulgates this Supplementary plan to urgently cut off the source of infection and quickly control the pandemic.
