​Accordingly, the Authority performs the function of direct state management of industrial parks in the province; provides public administrative services and other supporting services related to investment, production and business activities for investors in industrial parks. Contributing comments, developing and submitting to Ministries, branches and provincial People's Committee for approval, organizing the implementation of tasks under their management functions;  tasks delegated and authorized by Ministries, branches, provincial People's Committee and competent agencies, etc.

According to decentralization, coordinating with relevant agencies to organize technology appraisal and technology transfer contracts, evaluate technology and technology level; inspect and control technology and transfer technology in investment projects, research and development activities and technology application of enterprises.

The Authority has a Head and no more than 03 Deputy Heads. The appointment, transfer, rotation, commendation, discipline, dismissal, resignation, retirement and implementation of other regimes and policies for the Head and Deputy Heads of the Authority shall be decided by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as regulated by the law.

The organizational structure includes the Office; Division of Design and Construction Management; Division of Investment Management; Division of Corporate management and Investment Supervision Support; Division of Labor Management; Division of Environmental Management; Representative Offices in Industrial Parks.

This Decision takes effect from July 01, 2021 and replaces Decision no. 17/2016/QD-UBND dated June 29, 2016 of the Provincial People's Committee promulgating regulations on functions, duties, powers and organizational structure of the Binh Duong Industrial Zones Authority; annulling Decision no. 46/2016/QD-UBND dated December 19, 2016 of the Provincial People's Committee promulgating regulations on functions, duties, powers and organizational structure of the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Management Board.

From May 22, 2020, the Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park Management Board was merged into the Binh Duong Industrial Zones Authority under the Prime Minister's Decision.
