PORTAL - On the afternoon of April 23, at the Administrative Center of Binh Duong Province, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received Mr. Kari Kahiluoto - Ambassador of the Republic of Finland in Vietnam.
At the meeting, Mr. Kari Kahiluoto shared that Finland has cooperated with Vietnam in many fields, in which, the clean water project "Finnish Water" was implemented in Vietnam since the 1980s - one of the symbols of success in relations between the two countries. He affirmed that the two sides are in the transition from development cooperation to a deeper relationship in trade, investment and high technology.
During this visit, he was impressed by the dynamic development of Binh Duong, especially the image of a smart city that the province is building. At the same time, he congratulated the achievements in socio-economic development of the province over the past time, especially in improving the business investment environment. He also informed about capital sources to support public investment and other financial solutions to support cooperation between Finland and Binh Duong. On this occasion, the Ambassador introduced a number of Finnish companies with strengths and potential to cooperate with Binh Duong in fields such as clean water and sanitation, waste treatment, education consulting, technology, construction, architecture, planning, etc.

With his position and role, Mr. Kari Kahiluoto affirmed that he will continue to be a bridge and promote cooperation between Finnish and Binh Duong investors in the coming time; as well as organize many conferences and seminars to share experiences in building smart cities, contributing to further tightening the cooperation relationship between the two sides.
