At the provincial General Hospital, attending the meeting were leaders of the Department of Health, the Provincial General Hospital, the Provincial Center for Disease Control and representatives of the provincial General Hospital's medical staff and doctors.

After listening to the leaders of the Department of Health to report quickly the professional activities and the Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control over the past time, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Thao acknowledged and praised the efforts of the cadres, medical staff, doctors and employees' collective of the provincial Health branch for their contribution and dedication to the cause of protecting and taking care of the people's health, especially doing well the Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control. On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished abundant health, happiness and success to all cadres, employees, medical staff and doctors of the provincial Health branch.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed that collectives, cadres, medical staff, doctors and physicians continue their efforts to contribute, promote the achieved results, create prestige, trust with the people and be the pride of Health branch. In the context of an increasing population in Binh Duong, the branch needs to listen to the opinions of the people to objectively evaluate the health activities of the province, improve the skills and workmanship of the team of medical staff, doctors and the quality of medical examination and treatment of health facilities, strictly complying with Uncle Ho's teaching "Doctor like a gentle mother". Getting facilities and human resources ready when the 1,500-bed Hospital goes into operation in the near future.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Van Nam emphasized, overcoming difficulties and challenges, the Health branch as the Standing agency to advise and assist the provincial Steering Committee for the Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control, Provincial General Hospital, Center for Disease Control are the "leading" units asserting the vanguard, pioneering role on the front line to control the pandemic, protect the health safety of the people, and have made great efforts in improving medical ethics, quality of medical examination and treatment, and realization of specialized techniques.

The Secretary sent his deep thanks and best wishes to cadres and employees of the Health branch on Vietnamese Doctors' Day. The Secretary believed that the Department of Health will continue to do well in its advisory work, the Provincial General Hospital, the Provincial Center for Disease Control and the health facilities in the entire province continue to promote good experiences in pandemic prevention and control and treatment for the patient.
