At the meeting, the two parties exchanged opportunities for cooperation in potential fields between Binh Duong People's Committee and ADB in the period 2021-2025. Accordingly, Binh Duong pays attention to and prioritizes investment in the urban transport sector through public private partnership (PPP), typically the project to renovate and expand Highway No. 13.
In term of water and urban development sector, the province will expand water plants to increase the total water supply capacity to about 900,000 m3 / day. In addition, Binh Duong also focuses on developing higher education, developing skills in vocational education institutions, health care projects for the elderly, energy saving projects for construction of smart city, etc.
Through the discussion, Mr. Andrew Jeffries highly appreciated the rapid and dynamic development of Binh Duong, as well as the development directions of the province in the next period. He affirmed that ADB was ready to cooperate with Binh Duong in new projects. At the same time, he wished to receive support of the leaders of province, departments, and sectors for on-going projects and the ones will be implemented in the coming time.

Especially, Binh Duong is implementing the Smart City Construction Project, so it is very necessary to support ADB to invest in deep development of technical solutions for this Project.
