Delegates perform the groundbreaking ceremony of road and bridge construction connecting Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces

The road and bridge project connecting Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces is the cooperation agreement of Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces, aiming to complete the inter-regional road network in general, between Binh Duong province and Tay Ninh province in particular, ensuring continuous road traffic connecting the traffic network, serving the travel and goods transportation needs of the people of the two provinces, contributing to the socio-economic development of the two localities.
In terms of scale, the project is a grade 2 transport work, with a length of 800.39 m. The approaching road to Binh Duong province is 377.7 m long; approaching road to Tay Ninh province is 92.2 m long. The project has a total investment of more than VND 369.98 billion. The Project is by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Unit as an investor. The bridge is pre-stressed reinforced concrete with a design life of 100 years. The road is designed according to the standard of grade 3 plain road and the design speed of 80km/h. The project is implemented from 2020 to 2024, by the investor directly managing the project with investment capital from the provincial budget.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Mai Hung Dung – Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee praised the investor's efforts and attempts; the coordination of departments, committees and branches in Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces. At the same time, he acknowledged and highly appreciated the determination to soon complete the site clearance of Dau Tieng district, Binh Duong province and Duong Minh Chau district, Tay Ninh province. The Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested related units, after the construction was commenced, to immediately deploy synchronous construction solutions, ensuring the quality schedule; to closely coordinate with the relevant departments and localities in Tay Ninh province, in order to promptly resolve problems that may arise during the construction process.
