According to the report, in the past 6 months, despite the complicated development of Covid-19, with the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the unanimity of the people in the province, Binh Duong does not have the case of Covid-19 infection in the area, the economy continues to maintain a stable growth. Total GRDP increased by 6.73% over the same period; budget revenue of VND 29,800 billion, reaching 48% of the estimate; attracting foreign investment of USD 693 million with 71 new projects, etc. The province has also done well to ensure social security for policy beneficiaries, the poor and workers, with a total support of VND 537.5 billion. Particularly, support activities for people who are difficult due to the Covid-19 pandemic, unions, religious organizations have implemented many effective models such as: rice ATM, presenting masks, etc. which worth VND billions. Responding to the call of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the province supported VND 260 billion for pandemic prevention and control.
The conference also raised 8 groups of ideas on improving the effectiveness of the content innovation, operational methods of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the province.
Concluding the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc said that the mass mobilization of the entire political system in the province achieved results according to the program. From now till the end of the year, focusing on the dual task of both Covid-19 prevent and control, and socio-economic development, etc.
On this occasion, 17 collectives and 13 individuals were honored to receive the Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Party Committee for outstanding achievements and winning the prize of Skillful mass mobilization in 2019.
