BEGIC - Late June 27, Binh Duong provincial People's Committee in cooperation with Finnish Embassy in Viet Nam held a workshop on sharing Finland's experience to build smart cities and innovative eco-systems.
At the workshop, the Finnish experts introduced successful solutions and models to develop smart city and innovative eco-system to help Binh Duong in the process of becoming the global destination through the smart infrastructure operation.
Attending the event was Mai Hung Dung, Member of Provincial Standing Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Leaders of Finnish Embassy in Vietnam; Finland's experts and leaders of provincial departments and sectors.

Speaking at the workshop, Mai Hung Dung emphasized that Finland is always in the top 10 countries in the world in the index of Global Innovation Index (GII) and Global Competitiveness Index (GCI). The country has been in the top performers on public service, university education, enterprises' innovation, public – private cooperation….The success of Finland in promoting economic growth and sustainable development based on innovation is a valuable experience for reference.
