According to the report, in 2023, the socio-economic situation in the province has been achieving outstanding results. The province's Gross regional domestic product (GRDP) is estimated to increase by 5.97% and GRDP per capita is 172 million VND. Economic structure of industry - service - agriculture - product tax minus product subsidies with corresponding proportions of 66.26% - 23.71% - 2.64% - 7.39% (the plan is 67.0% - 23.09% - 2.49% - 7.42%).
Economic growth (GRDP) has had a clear change, the next quarter is higher than the previous quarter. The industry and construction sector continue to be the main growth drivers of the economy, accounting for 66.26% of the structure and contributing about 70% to the increase in total added value. Export turnover reached 31.8 billion USD, decreased by 7.3% compared to 2022. Import turnover reached 23.1 billion USD, decreased by 7%.
Total social development investment capital is estimated to be 164.300 billion VND, an increase of 11% compared to 2022.
By November 30, 2023, domestic investment attracted 81.819 billion VND of registered business capital (down 15.4% over the same period). Accumulated up to now, the whole province has 65.567 domestic enterprises with a total registered capital of 712.000 billion VND. Foreign investment attracted 1 billion 467 million USD (reaching 81% of the plan, equal to 48% over the same period). Accumulated to date, the whole province has 4.211 foreign-invested projects with a total registered capital of 40.3 billion USD.

Regarding some private clinics that did not operate according to regulations, Mr. Huynh Minh Chin - Deputy Director of the Department of Health said that over the past years, the inspection and examination of private clinics in the province has been strengthened, the Department Inspectorate conducted 147 inspections and imposed administrative penalties on violating establishments worth nearly 1 billion VND to pay to the State budget.

Installing surveillance cameras for security and traffic, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thuan - Deputy Director of the Department of Transport said that Thu Dau Mot City has deployed cameras on 02 city roads. Soon, the city will preliminarily review the pilot to deploy and replicate the model. The province is also taking steps to install cameras on the My Phuoc - Tan Van Road and National Highway 13. It is expected that it will go into operation in 2024. Regarding the implementation of key transportation projects in the province, Mr. Thuan said that investors and construction units are accelerating the implementation of projects to ensure they are on schedule.
