At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the PPC Nguyen Van Danh welcomed the delegation to visit and learn about the investment environment of Binh Duong. Briefly introducing the socio-economic situation of Binh Duong province in 2022 to the Delegation, Vice Chairman of the PPC said that in 2022, despite the world economic situation facing many difficulties, Binh Duong still achieved and exceeded the target of economic development, trade surplus reached about 10 billion USD; attracting foreign investment reached nearly 3 billion USD, ranked 2nd in the country after Ho Chi Minh City. Up to now, Korea has 760 investment projects with a total capital of 3.3 billion USD, ranking 5th among 65 countries and territories investing in Binh Duong. The province also signed cooperation agreements with Korean localities such as Gangnam district (Seoul City); Daejeon City.

Appreciating the results achieved by Binh Duong province over the years, Mr. Jung Won Ju said, Daewoo Construction Company is a multi-field group of Korea. Currently, the Company is implementing a number of urban development projects in Hanoi. In the near future, the Company has the need to develop more real estate, logistics, ESG infrastructure and energy projects in Vietnam, including the Southern provinces, therefore, the purpose of this visit and work with Binh Duong province is very important for the Company to consider and decide on investment. After visiting industrial parks in Binh Duong and especially Binh Duong New City, the delegation was very impressed with the local development and realized that this is a very potential land for implementing urban development projects. He hoped that in the near future he will have the opportunity to cooperate with the province to develop the Company's projects, contributing to building Binh Duong into a civilized, rich and beautiful city.

Thanks to the good feelings that the Delegation has for Binh Duong, Vice Chairman of the PPC Nguyen Van Danh emphasized, Binh Duong is promoting the construction of Smart City, Innovation Region, the fields that Daewoo Company is aiming for are also very suitable with the development orientation of the province. Provincial leaders welcomed and wished that Daewoo Company would choose Binh Duong as an upcoming investment destination.
