The Vietnam - China Friendship Association in Binh Duong province currently has 160 members. In the 2017-2022 tenure, the Association has well implemented the activities according to the orientation and direction of the Central Government, the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, the relevant departments and branches. At the same time, performing well the propaganda about the foreign activities of the Party, State and province, organizing diplomatic activities to strengthen friendly relations and promote cooperation in many fields with China. Thereby affirming the role and position of the Association and contributing to the overall development of the province.

In addition to the imprints on diplomacy, economy, cooperation in the fields of culture, education, social charity activities are also regularly carried out by the Association, contributing to taking care of the lives of workers, people, pupils and students with difficult circumstances in Binh Duong province. During the last term, the Association has actively campaigned and coordinated with the Taiwan Merchants Association, Cuong Phat Ceramics Company, the Chinese Four-State Mutual Aid Association and many Chinese enterprises investing in Binh Duong to support the poor and the province's pandemic prevention and control nearly 48 billion VND with nearly 1,000 gifts, etc.

However, due to many objective factors and prolonged pandemic, the Association's activities in the last tenure were still limited, and the membership development did not meet the set requirements.

For the 2022-2027 tenure, the Vietnam - China Friendship Association in Binh Duong province focuses on the following key tasks: Gradually strengthening the Association's organization to become stronger and stronger; introducing and informing all classes of people in the province about the relationship between the Vietnamese people and the Chinese people as well as propagate to the Chinese people living and working in Binh Duong about Vietnam's foreign policy; annually sending personnel to join provincial delegations to China and exchange information, establish relations with China-Vietnam friendship organizations, socio-political organizations and Chinese enterprises for the benefit of the two peoples, etc.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Association for the 2022-2027 tenure including 13 members. Mr. Vo Thanh Nhan - Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs continued to be elected as the Chairman of the Association for the 2022-2027 tenure.
