HUD's social housing project is located in Chanh My ecological urban area in Chanh My ward, Thu Dau Mot city, built on an area of 2.7 hectares with 06 blocks of 12 floors, 978 units with the lowest selling price of 700 million VND/unit 38 m2.

Model of Chanh My social housing project
In the 2021-2030 period, HUD aims to strive to invest, build 1.86 million m2 of social housing floor, equivalent to nearly 20,000 units.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi - Minister of Construction said, this is the 18th social housing project started construction nationwide and the 5th social housing project started in Binh Duong. From the beginning of 2022 until now, with these 05 projects, Binh Duong is one of the leading provinces in the country in effectively implementing policies to support the development of social housing for low-income people in urban areas, housing for workers. Binh Duong is also a province that has effectively implemented in the spirit of the Government's Resolution No. 11 on the program of socio-economic recovery and development in 2022-2023, as well as concretizing the National Housing Development Strategy for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister in December 2021. This is a practical result of implementing drastic directions of the Government and Prime Minister in the development of social housing for low-income people in urban areas, housing for workers.
