PORTAL - On the morning of March 17, at the Administrative Center of Binh Duong province, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received the delegation of the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam led by Mr. Mikkel Lyndrup - Deputy Ambassador of Denmark in Vietnam to visit and work with Binh Duong province.
At the meeting, Mr. Mikkel Lyndrup emphasized that Denmark is one of the first Western countries to establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam. Denmark is also the first Nordic country with which Vietnam has established a comprehensive partnership framework since 2013.
Looking back over the past 50 years, it can be seen that the relationship between the two countries has developed in a stable, positive, sustainable and comprehensive manner. The fields of extensive cooperation range from politics - diplomacy, economy - trade - investment, sustainable development, energy, climate, environment to cooperation in research, education, culture, sports and tourism.
Vietnam has also approached and exported strong products such as textiles, footwear, and handicrafts to the Danish market. Currently, more than 140 Danish enterprises have come to invest in Vietnam. Leading Danish corporations such as Vestas, Orsted (wind power, renewable energy), Lego (toys) have all committed to large investment projects, even projects with a total investment of over 1 billion USD in Vietnam in the near future.
He assessed, Binh Duong is a dynamic province with outstanding development speed and investment potential. On this occasion, he introduced a number of Danish enterprises to explore investment opportunities in Binh Duong.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh thanked the Deputy Ambassador for introducing Danish enterprises to explore the investment environment in Binh Duong. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that, with the prestige and existing capacity of the Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIPs), it would be very convenient for Danish enterprises to set up factories here. In addition, with technical infrastructure being upgraded and completed, and a large number of employees, especially high-quality, professional and enthusiastic human resources, will create the most favorable conditions for investors.
