Mr. Tran Hong Ha - Deputy Prime Minister receives partners and businesses at Horasis China Meeting 2024

​PORTAL - On the morning of April 15th, at the Binh Duong Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, Mr. Tran Hong Ha - Deputy Prime Minister, and leaders of ministries and branches received and worked with businesses from China and  Germany attending the Horasis China Meeting 2024 in Binh Duong.​

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Loi - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC); Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Chairman of Becamex IDC Corporation.

Receiving and working with Chinese businesses, Mr. Tran Hong Ha - Deputy Prime Minister said that with the comprehensive strategic cooperation relationship, the attention, orientation, and direction of the two countries' senior leaders, Viet Nam and China have many favorable conditions for mutual development. In the context of many uncertainties in the world economy, Mr. Tran Hong Ha - Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the Horasis China Meeting 2024 in Binh Duong.

Through this Meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister looks forward to good results contributing to promoting cooperation in science and technology, green transformation, digital transformation, and strong application of scientific and technological achievements to serve as a solid driving force for growth and socio-economic development.

The Deputy Prime Minister welcomed Chinese businesses to continue participating in renewable energy projects, and he hoped that these projects would become models of effective and quality cooperation.

Mr. Xiong Meng - Vice President, Secretary General of the China Federation of Industrial Economics (CFIE) said that Viet Nam and China have a special relationship with many cultural and geographical similarities. The Horasis China Meeting 2024 in Binh Duong continues to be an important premise for strengthening economic cooperation, developing bilateral trade as well as seeking investment cooperation opportunities between the two countries in fields such as green development, digital economy, responding to climate change, promoting the construction of a safe and stable supply chain and production chain system.

Mr. Xiong Meng expressed that he will make efforts to bring many Chinese businesses to invest in Viet Nam in the near future.

Receiving and working with German businesses, Mr. Tran Hong Ha - Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that currently, the trends of globalization and competition are taking place very fiercely. The Horasis Meeting plays a key role in jointly affirming nowadays development, and the issue of trade liberalization and globalization is an irreplaceable mainstream trend. Countries can only cooperate and share global issues to achieve joint goals, there are a few countries that can protect themselves against problems such as climate change, epidemics, etc. Only when all countries implement together, the goals will be achieved.

Expressing his thanks to Horasis for choosing Binh Duong to host the Horasis China Meeting 2024, during this special occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister hoped that businesses would try to exchange and discuss cooperation. In particular, Binh Duong province must demonstrate its political determination to strengthen global commitment.​


German businesses discuss at the meetings

On behalf of German businesses, Mr. Urs Unkauf - Federal Managing Director of the German Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA) Global Economic Network sincerely thanked the warm welcome of the leaders of the Vietnamese Government and Binh Duong province. He was very impressed with the dynamic development of Viet Nam in general and Binh Duong province in particular. Viet Nam has developed very quickly and sustainably over the past time. These are the results of Viet Nam's efforts, foreign countries's attention and support as well as international organizations'. He emphasized that the trend of global cooperation plays an important role in the current context of facing global challenges such as epidemics, climate change, poverty, etc.

He believes that economic cooperation between Germany and Viet Nam, as well as between Europe and Asia in general, can lead to important results.

At the same time, he thanked Binh Duong province for coordinating to host the Horasis China Meeting 2024, which had created opportunities for experts, scientists, and businesses to discuss solutions that contribute to the development of Viet Nam and Binh Duong. This is also an opportunity for German businesses to learn about the investment environment of Viet Nam in general and Binh Duong province in particular.

Through the sharing of German businesses, Mr. Tran Hong Ha - Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the investment and business activities of corporations in Viet Nam. The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the Vietnamese Government will support and create favorable conditions for businesses to implement effective, successful, and sustainable business investment activities in Viet Nam.
