Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ming Zhanxi shared that Chinese wood industry enterprises are currently very interested in the wood industry in Binh Duong. He hoped that after the meeting, those enterprises would have more information about the wood industry in Binh Duong, as well as the province policies regarding the wood industry so that they could have investment plans in the future.

Mr. Ming Zhanxi also said that, through research, with changes in the world market, if Viet Nam has good policies, there will be a large wave of businesses moving from the Chinese market to the Vietnamese market in the future.
Informing the delegation, the Standing Vice Chairman of the PPC Mai Hung Dung introduced the province's socio-economic and investment attraction achievements. With an open investment environment, by May 2024, the province had attracted a total registered capital of over 40 billion USD, with 4,300 foreign investment projects. China is the leading country among 65 countries and territories that have investment projects in Binh Duong. In 2023, the province's export turnover reached 31.8 billion USD. The wood manufacturing and processing industry accounted for the highest proportion, estimated at nearly 5.5 billion USD, accounting for 17.8% of the province's export turnover.

At the meeting, the delegates also shared the outstanding features of Binh Duong province's wood industry, the advantages and difficulties that the wood industry is facing, as well as the future development potential of the wood industry.
