Thanh Phuoc Port is located in Thanh Phuoc ward, Tan Uyen City with an exploitation capacity of 100.000 – 170.000 TEU per year until 2030. The port is located in a place connecting large industrial parks in Tan Uyen, and Bac Tan Uyen such as Viet Nam – Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) IIA, VSIP III, Dat Cuoc, etc. It is also connected to some important ports such as Binh Duong General Port, Hiep Phuoc Port, Cat Lai Port (Ho Chi Minh City), Cai Mep – Thi Vai Port, and many ports in Mekong Delta provinces and Northern provinces in Viet Nam. Therefore, it is very convenient for transporting and unloading goods. Procedures for import, export, and transit of goods are all implemented at Thanh Phuoc Port conveniently and rapidly. Besides, it saves time and costs for businesses.
As an Inland Container Depot, Thanh Phuoc Port can handle both destination port goods and border gate transfer goods. That contributes to solving the transport overload and accelerating the speed of goods circulation. From there, it promotes the business' goods production businesses in the province, increases the export and import turnover of goods, and creates conditions for establishing a logistics center of the province and the whole Southern region. From there, it leads to an increase in the supply of services, budget revenue, and economic growth, and it creates jobs for workers, ensures security and social order in the region, and contributes to achieving the goal of transforming the economic structure of Binh Duong province.
Up to now, Binh Duong General Port Border Gate Department has handled customs procedures for import goods at Thanh Phuoc Port for 13 businesses corresponding to 24 declarations, reaching a turnover of 926,875 million USD and 2,23 billion dong in taxes.

It expresses the determination and efforts of Thanh Phuoc Port Joint Stock Company and Binh Duong Provincial Customs Department to bring practical benefits to businesses inside and outside the province. Besides, it helps activities of goods inspection in the province be quick, accurate, and convenient. That contributes to saving time, human resources, and costs for businesses. At the same time, it helps to encourage businesses to switch from the method of goods transportation by road to waterways. It needs to take advantage of the province's strengths in waterways to save costs for businesses' logistics, reduce the load of road transportation, and limit environmental pollution.

In order for the customs processing point at Thanh Phuoc Port to maximize operational efficiency and meet the expectations of the business community in the region, the Standing Vice Chairman of the PPC requested Binh Duong Provincial Customs Department and Thanh Phuoc Port continue to promote a sense of responsibility, focus on direct relevant units to well implement the exploitation and operation of Thanh Phuoc Port, support and ensure businesses to reduce time and costs. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the Customs force implements better inspection and clearance of import and export goods. In addition, it needs to efficiently prevent smuggling and commercial fraud in the coming time.
