The event was held in Binh Duong province to practically celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea (December 22, 1992 – December 22, 2022); was an opportunity for Binh Duong province and Korean partners to jointly evaluate the cooperation results in the past time, and set out cooperation directions in the coming time.
At the same time, promoting economic diplomacy activities, attracting foreign direct investment capital as well as promoting widely the Binh Duong province's image; contributing to strengthening the relationship between Binh Duong province with localities, Korean partners in particular and the strategic cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Korea in general.
Overview of Meet Korea 2022
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the PPC Vo Van Minh affirmed that, during the 25 years of Binh Duong province's formation and development, the provincial government appreciates the interest of foreign investors, including Korean investors for socio-economic development as well as social responsibility activities of Korean enterprises in Binh Duong province.
For Binh Duong province, "Meet Korea 2022" is a milestone for Binh Duong and its Korean partners to continue developing programs of economic cooperation, investment, science and technology, cultural exchanges, sports and smart city development in the coming time.

The Chairman of the PPC emphasized that Binh Duong authorities at all levels are always committed to accompany the enterprise community in general to conduct production, business, and trade activities, etc. in the most favorable conditions; at the same time he wished to continue to receive the support and cooperation of the Korean community, contributing to the common socio-economic development of the province.
Mr. Pham Quang Hieu - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs said that over the past time, the local cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Korea has become increasingly close. Up to now, Vietnam has had more than 50 localities establish cooperative relations with Korean localities.
Binh Duong has always been one of the leading provinces and cities nationwide in industrial development and attracting foreign direct investment. With the concern, side by side and sharing of production and business activities with investors, and policies on environmental protection, attention to labor quality plus modern and synchronous investment and development infrastructure, open and attractive investment environment, he believed that Binh Duong is an ideal place for foreign investors to learn and cooperate with peace of mind. Besides, with the innovative thinking, creativity and high determination of the provincial leaders, Binh Duong will definitely be an attractive destination, attracting Korean investors.
