Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Member of Provincial Standing Party Committee, Head of Commission for Mass Mobilization of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial Fatherland Front's Committee.
According to the report, the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Committee (Permanent Congress Organizing Committee) has developed a report on the results of the emulation movement and commendation for the period of 2015-2020, directions and tasks in the period of 2020-2025; draft opening speech of the Congress, closing speech and launching emulation movement in the period of 2020-2025; developed detailed scenarios, completed the list of delegates and guests to attend the Congress and a list of 400 typical delegates according to the comments of the Council at the previous meeting. At the same time, 16 collectives and 35 individuals were selected out of 400 typical delegates to write and print the "Shining examples of Binh Duong" book to propagate for the Congress; coordinating with Binh Duong Radio and Television Station to build a report on "Integration and development of Binh Duong in association with patriotic emulation movement in the period of 2015-2020". The Permanent Congress Organizing Committee also collaborates with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to prepare an exhibition of images of achievements in socio-economic development, national defense and security associated with the patriotic emulation movement of Binh Duong province for the period of 2015-2020. It is expected that the Congress will take place at the end of September 2020.
The Congress is organized to summarize 05 years (2015-2020) of implementing the patriotic emulation movement in the province, assessing the outstanding achievements of the patriotic emulation movement and its shortcomings, limited need to overcome; propose directions to promote patriotic emulation movement on the basis of the province's socio-economic development objectives and tasks in the coming years. Timely commending and honoring collectives and individuals who are heroes, emulation soldiers, advanced-typical examples in branches, levels, fields, economic sectors and people from all strata. According to the plan, 400 typical advanced collectives and individuals in all fields will be commended at the Congress, of which 05 individuals were honored to be awarded the Labor Medal, 09 collectives received the Emulation Flag of Government; 32 collectives received Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee.
Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Liem basically agreed with the plan, and at the same time requested the Emulation and Commendation Council and the units to coordinate well in their assigned tasks and prepare carefully for the Congress to take place in a meaningful, solemn and successful way.
