International trade connection
The goal of establishing and developing the World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC BDNC) is to connect and help local businesses to develop international trade, develop Binh Duong to become a dynamic area with diversified professional services, human resources, development capable of developing global commerce and increasing attraction for real estate projects in the region. WTC BDNC, with the role of supporting international trade service activities in Binh Duong and surrounding areas, will synthesize domestic and foreign resources (including facilities and international trade services) such as international convention and exhibition centers, office buildings, shopping malls, hotel and restaurant complexes. International trade service facilities at the center include service of organizing conferences, international fairs, services of connecting commercial enterprises, trade missions and information centers and support the development of international trade, the center for training and developing global trade manpower etc. WTC BDNC will also admit member businesses and these businesses will become members of WTCA as well as be able to connect with over 1 million businesses worldwide.
Based on the approval of WTCA, Becamex IDC will conduct the construction of WTC BDNC at the roundabout of new city, right next to the Administration Center of Binh Duong Province. When formed, this place will be a complex including the center of fairs, international conferences, hotels, shopping centers, offices, Metro stations connected to Metro Line 1 of Ho Chi Minh City.
The project is about to be announced
Recently, Becamex IDC Corporation has researched and submitted the project to the Provincial People's Committee to develop this complex with the desire to increase the proportion of services in Binh Duong province and associate with 05 breakthrough programs of Binh Duong province in the period of 2016-2020 (improving the quality of human resources, modernizing civilized urban planning, developing highly qualified professional services, mobilizing domestic and foreign resources for development as well as raising Binh Duong international brand name).
Moreover, this project is also included in the overall development of smart city according to Decision No. 3206 QD/UBND dated November 21st, 2016. During the meeting, Becamex IDC presented the project to the provincial People's Committee, Chairman Tran Thanh Liem desires to develop the World Trade Center in Binh Duong more than a building or an organization, is a service center attracting international trade activities in the Southeast region. To ensure membership of the WTCA, Becamex IDC has spent time researching in countries around the world such as the US, Korea, Taiwan and the development models of international trade centers of other members of WTCA. In addition, Becamex IDC has developed the project with the feasibility of financial and human resources to build this area as well as train and develop human resources related to services for Binh Duong province and surrounding areas. In this project, Becamex IDC has also shown that it will coordinate with departments and agencies in Binh Duong and international trade promotion organizations to develop professional service groups with a view to developing a strong business community to reach the international level.
It is expected that November 23rd, 2019 will announce the World Trade Center project in Binh Duong. This program is part of 2019 Horasis Asia Meeting – Binh Duong (referred as Horasis 2019 - Binh Duong) will be held from November 24th to November 26th, 2019 at Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center (Hoa Phu Ward, Thu Dau Mot City). Horasis 2019 - Binh Duong brings together about 400 senior guests from 60 countries around the world and 350 guests from the Central, Ministries, branches of Vietnam and localities. The forum consisted of a series of sessions discussing regional and global economic issues, new trends in technology development, etc. Following the success of the Horasis 2018 - Binh Duong, the Horasis 2019 - Binh Duong will organize including 04 Horasis plenary meetings, 35 Regional sessions focused on Asia and the sideline event – "Horasis for all" Festival.
World Trade Center Association (WTCA) is
a non-profit, non-political association dedicated to the establishment and
effective operation of World Trade Centers as instruments for trade expansion.
The
association was established to promote trade and investment opportunities for
commercial real estate developers, regional economic development agencies and
international businesses with the desire to connect globally to local area
development. Today, the WTCA represents over 330 members in more
than 100 countries and more than 1 million international
trading corporations. The benefits of joining the association are to promote
the strong urban economic and commercial development, create the prestige and
international image of the city, create many symbolic works to increase the
base value, create prosperity from investing in small and medium
