​Accordingly, in 2019, Binh Duong will focus on implementing 11 key projects related to smart logistics; semiconductor factory; training high quality human resources, developing Fablab, Techlab systems in universities, promoting innovation in the community, supporting startup; developing Science and Technology Industrial Park;  promoting Lighting LED project; deploying the construction of an enterprise database management software system; developing electronic government system, administrative reform and information technology application in management; promoting Binh Duong's image; organizing international events; developing sustainable programs. The meeting discussed the plan of each unit to implement Smart City Scheme according to the plan of 2019. Through discussion, many projects will be completed this year. Specifically, the Center for Community Initiative and Startup Support is put into operation, 2 Fablab are established and put into operation at Thu Dau Mot University and Vietnam - Singapore Vocational College; completing the enterprise database in Binh Duong province connecting to provincial general database system; issuing enterprise database architecture for Smart City; deploying LED lighting project in Binh Duong new city area. The province will focus on researching and building Science and Technology Industrial Park; studying smart logistics feasibility and railway route to submit to the Government for approval of the project. Particularly, the Executive Board of Smart City Scheme is prepared to organize major events related to Smart City in Binh Duong, promoting international networks, Horasis, WTA, ICF etc.

Conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Mai Hung Dung basically agreed with the implementation plan of Binh Duong Smart City Scheme in 2019. He noted that, the province needs to exploit well relationships with experienced international organizations to assist them in consulting some projects to develop Smart City. Departments, agencies and units focus on implementing proposed projects effectively, especially projects related to semiconductor, regional lighting, e-Government construction. Horasis 2019, in addition to main programs, there should be more initiative programs for students and citizens to participate.
