According to the consultant's report, regarding the alignment and station locations, the railway line from Bau Bang Station to An Binh Station is fundamentally updated based on the Ho Chi Minh City - Loc Ninh national railway line approved by the Prime Minister and the detailed railway master plan for the Ho Chi Minh City hub area.

The consulting unit reported at the meeting
Regarding the line's scale, the starting point of the railway line is An Binh Station (Di An Ward, Di An City), and the end point is Bau Bang Station (Lai Uyen Town, Bau Bang District). The total length of the railway line is approximately 52.25 km, with 10 stations; the plan is for a double-track line with a gauge of 1,435mm. This railway type will transport both passengers and goods. The railway line will traverse Di An City, Thuan An City, Tan Uyen City, Thu Dau Mot City, Ben Cat City, and Bau Bang District.

Regarding the alignment, the route starts from An Binh station, runs parallel to the left of My Phuoc - Tan Van road, then at Binh Chuan area, turns right towards the East of Thu Dau Mot City, and subsequently proceeds westward towards VSIP II Industrial Park to Bau Bang station.
The Di An - Bau Bang railway line is expected to be put into operation in 2033.

Following the report from the consulting unit and feedback from various departments and agencies, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Chairman of the PPC, requested departments and agencies to coordinate with the consulting unit to determine the number of overpasses and underpasses along the route for inclusion in the preliminary feasibility study's intersection options. Additionally, he urged continued review and adjustment of local planning to finalize the alignment.
In the next report, the Chairman of the PPC requested the consulting unit to provide a clear report on the financial plan, investment methods, projected technology, and other aspects of the railway line. Localities traversed by the railway line are advised to review the volume of compensation for site clearance to facilitate project implementation.

On the same morning, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Chairman of the PPC held a working session with the leadership of Thu Dau Mot City regarding the adjustment of the city's sub-area planning. He requested Thu Dau Mot City to urgently coordinate with the Department of Construction to carry out the procedures for adjusting the 1/5000 sub-area planning of Thu Dau Mot City. By the end of June 2025, steps must be taken to collect feedback from relevant departments and the public; striving to complete the adjustment of Thu Dau Mot City's sub-area planning by mid-July 2025.
