At the reception, Mr. Vo Van Minh – Chairman of the PPC expressed his pleasure at the delegation's visit and working session with Binh Duong Province at the beginning of 2025; at the same time, he affirmed the good cooperative relationship between Viet Nam and South Korea over the past time. The Chairman of the PPC informed that the Republic of Korea is currently ranked 5th among 65 countries and territories investing in Binh Duong with 776 projects and a total capital of 3.45 billion USD. Binh Duong Province has also twined with Daejeon City, Gangnam District, Seoul (South Korea). Over the past time, the exchange and cooperation activities between Binh Duong and the Korean localities have been very lively and effective.

Overview of the meeting
To support Binh Duong's development in science, technology, and innovation, the Chairman of the PPC expressed his hope that the Global Innovation Studies "GIS" & Global Together will serve as a bridge to facilitate cooperation between Binh Duong and Korean institutes and universities in high-quality human resource development, at the same time, he encouraged the promotion of investment projects in Binh Duong. Currently, Binh Duong has a significant demand for high-quality human resources and is well-equipped to collaborate with Korean institutes and universities in human resource development.

Mr. Kim Jin Pyo expressed his deep impression of Binh Duong's rapid development, especially the province's remarkable achievement of double-digit growth in 2025 and the coming years. He expressed his gratitude for the province's support in facilitating successful investments by Korean businesses in Binh Duong. Moreover, he affirmed his commitment to actively promoting cooperation and connecting Korean businesses to invest in Binh Duong in digital economy, and innovation. Particularly, he will create all conditions for Binh Duong to collaborate with Korean institutes and universities in training high-quality human resources in information technology, IT, software, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, etc., to serve the province's digital transformation, industrialization, and modernization.
