PORTAL - Binh Duong province has just been honored with Vietnam's Top Industry 4.0 (Industrie 4.0 Award) in the category of typical State agencies implementing Digital Transformation and undertakings and policies to actively participate in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (according to Resolution 52 of the Politburo), taking place on July 15 in Hanoi.
Along with Binh Duong, there are 5 other provinces and cities honored: Da Nang, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Thua Thien Hue and Ninh Binh.
The Industrie 4.0 Awards includes three categories: Top Industry 4.0 Enterprises with Smart Factory solutions; Top localities taking the lead in implementing Resolution 52 of the Politburo on Industry 4.0 and Excellent Digital Transformation; Top Enterprises with smart digital products and Industry 4.0 technology solutions. At the ceremony, there were 35 enterprises with 48 digital products and solutions awarded (VIETEL POST, Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Company, Mobifone, etc.).
The event is chaired by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, in collaboration with the Vietnam Automation Association, the Vietnam Institute of Digital Transformation and Innovation, under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Through the awarding of TOP Industry 4.0 to evaluate the effectiveness of digital transformation and innovation in organizations and enterprises; promote digital transformation for enterprises. Thereby promoting the application of IT, digital technology, digital transformation and innovation, helping to improve the competitiveness of enterprises and develop the digital economy. At the same time, creating a playground for enterprises to have the opportunity to exchange, learn and share experiences in building smart factories, smart production, scientific and technological research, innovation, productivity improvement, product quality, business administration capacity. Linking and connecting state agencies, the community of scientists, the research community, universities and enterprises, supporting consulting, training, technology transfer, digital economy development.
Over the past time, Binh Duong province has drastically and synchronously implemented Resolution 52 of the Politburo and the digital transformation plan, concentrating all resources to deploy in all fields from departments, branches and levels in the province; investing in upgrading and expanding infrastructure, completing specifically in each area, especially administrative reform, and at the same time supporting the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises. Being honored with Vietnam's Top Industry 4.0 is the driving force for the province to further promote solutions to successfully implement the upcoming socio-economic goals, successfully build a smart city, and develop the digital economy and society.
