Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi awards the Decision to announce the green zone to Thu Dau Mot City
"Announcing a safe "green zone" is not a comprehensive socio-economic opening. This is a step to confirm the safety of the locality during the pandemic, and is the basis for promoting anti-pandemic results in the coming time. Every person of the city still strictly adheres to the 5K message of the Ministry of Health to maintain the results" - Ms. Nguyen Thu Cuc emphasized.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee speaks at the ceremony
Congratulating the city's achievements in pandemic prevention and control, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao assessed that this is the effort and try of the entire political system and the people of the city during the past 60 days. In order for activities to gradually return to the new normal, he suggested that the city continue to strictly implement measures in the coming time, especially the 5K message of the Ministry of Health to all people when going out. The Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also expressed gratitude and thanks to the team of medical staff, doctors, philanthropists and people who have joined the city and province in the pandemic prevention and control during the past time.
People circulate on the road in the new normal
As planned, from September 10-15, Thu Dau Mot city will loosen social distancing for the "green zone". People who have received 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine for 14 days or more and have received 2 doses are allowed to circulate outside the area of their wards where they reside (when participating in circulation, they must bring all documents proving that they have been vaccinated and meet the requirements for pandemic prevention and control). Traditional markets, commercial centers and supermarkets may resume operations provided that a business plan to ensure specific pandemic prevention and control is developed and approved by a competent authority. Stopping the operation of inter-quarter checkpoints, allowing local people to circulate within the ward; continuing to maintain the inter-ward, inter-district and inter-provincial checkpoints.
The city is developing a plan for food and beverage enterprises to reopen, but only for takeout, not on-site dining. Encouraging people to limit going out when not absolutely necessary, not to gather in large numbers in public places, outside of offices, schools, hospitals, strictly follow the 5K message of the Ministry of Health.
