At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee gave an overview of the socio-economic situation of Binh Duong province in 2020 and wishes and orientations for development cooperation in the coming time. Emphasizing the achievements of the province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee –Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao said that India currently has 206 projects investing in Vietnam with a total investment capital of nearly 900 million USD, ranking 26th out of total 129 countries and territories investing in Vietnam. Particularly, in Binh Duong province, India has invested in 10 projects with a total capital of 116 million USD.
Appreciating Binh Duong's dynamic development in recent years, the Indian business community believes that the dynamism and creativity of provincial leaders and the attention and support of departments and branches have contributed to making Binh Duong become one of the leading localities in the country in attracting foreign investment. Beside the favorable geographical location and climatic conditions, Binh Duong has many potentials for logistics development. The government of Binh Duong province always accompanies the business; builds good policies for investors and employees; especially, plans clean land fund for enterprises to invest production; the competitiveness of the province has made more and more spectacular progress, especially the results achieved by Binh Duong in building a Smart City.

Enterprises also proposed Binh Duong government to promote investment attraction in the fields of: Production of raw materials of silk and fiber to supply to enterprises who are producing leather and footwear in Vietnam; information technology, etc. Especially, it is pharmaceutical because this is a famous sector of India. At the same time, Binh Duong is proposed to be a sister of one locality in India that is considered as the center of pharmaceutical and vaccine production in the world.
Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao affirmed, with the motto "giving the best opportunities to attract investors" and "giving the best benefits to invite the talent", Binh Duong always welcomes investors and enterprises, Indian businessmen to come to Binh Duong for visiting and exploring investment opportunities when the Covid-19 epidemic has been well controlled.
