PORTAL - On the morning of November 12, at Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs cooperated with Binh Duong People's Committee to organize a class to update knowledge of foreign affair for 160 cadres and civil servants working on foreign affairs in Provinces and Cities: Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Da Nang and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
There were Mr. Pham Thanh Nam - Deputy Director of Multilateral Economic Cooperation Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and leaders of Department of Foreign Affairs of Binh Duong province, Ho Chi Minh City attending.
In 02 days, 12 and 13 – Nov - 2020, trainees will be conveyed 03 topics by lecturers and reporters: external communication skills; the new phase of Vietnam's international economic integration and a number of issues raised during the implementation of the Vietnam - EU Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA); current world situation and Vietnam's diplomatic relations, local foreign affairs.
According to Mr. Le Phu Hoa - Director of Binh Duong Department of Foreign Affairs, Binh Duong's activities of foreign affair in recent years have brought practical results, contributing to enhancing the position and image of dynamic and creative Binh Duong, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province. However, in addition to encouraging achievements, activities of foreign affair in Binh Duong as well as other provinces and cities in the region still have some limitations, not meeting the increasing demands and requirements of foreign affairs in new situation. The coordination of agencies, unions and localities in foreign affairs is not yet close. The contingent of cadres and civil servants working on foreign affairs of some departments, branches and localities have not yet grasped the basic skills, lack of professional knowledge and practical experience. Therefore, this class for updating knowledge of foreign affair is an opportunity for cadres and civil servants of Binh Duong and other provinces and cities to equip with knowledge, skills and professional qualification. At the same time, to update more information of the regional and world situation, Vietnam's external relations, and opportunities and challenges of foreign affair activities in the new situation.
