​There were Mr. Tran Van Nam - Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao - Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Thanh Liem - Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Vo Van Minh - Member of Provincial Standing Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Member of Provincial Standing Party Committee, Head of Provincial Commission for Mass Mobilisation, Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong and 65/68 members of Provincial People's Council attending the session.

Delegates voted unanimously to dismiss the title of Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, tenure IX

Delegates went to the polls to vote for the title of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, tenure IX, term 2016-2021

At the session, the Provincial People's Council agreed to dismiss Mr. Tran Thanh Liem from the position of Chairman of Binh Duong People's Committee, tenure 9, term 2016-2021 due to his expected retirement; dismissing Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai - Provincial State Inspectorate from the position of Member of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee tenure IX for due to her retirement under the regime.

The session held an additional election for the title of Chairman of the provincial People's Committee tenure IX, term 2016-2021 for Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; title of Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee tenure IX, term 2016-2021 for Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of Thu Dau Mot City People's Committee.

The result is that Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao was elected Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee with the number of votes reaching 65/65 votes compared with the number of delegates present, reaching the rate of 95.6% of the total number of the provincial People's Council,; Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha was elected as Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee tenure IX, term 2016-2021. Thus, at present, the Standing Committee of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee tenure IX, term 2016-2021, includes 01 Chairman - Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao and 03 Vice Presidents namely Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc and Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, new Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee delivered his speech

Delivering an inauguration speech, the new Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao expressed his honor when being assigned as Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. At the same time, he express his thanks for the deep concern of provincial leaders, delegates and voters. In the new position, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao wishes to build united team, "together to fight hard issues", practice critical thinking and critical self-criticism, become more active in directing and operating, taking common interests for Binh Duong's socio-economic development.

* Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao was born in 1963 in Tan Phuoc Khanh, Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong province, and qualification: Doctor of Law, senior expert, advanced political theory.

* Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha was born in 1974 in Chanh Phu Hoa, Ben Cat Town, Binh Duong Province. He is bachelor in political economy, architect, and advanced political theory.
