At the meeting, Mr. Kazuhide Umemoto introduced KitaKyushu city, Japan to Binh Duong leaders. Accordingly, the city of KitaKyushu has many conditions and advantages for economic development. Currently, what the city cares about and has the most development advantage is environmental issues, minimizing the impact of the environment and pollution of waste. In Vietnam, KitaKyushu City has cooperated with Hai Phong City to implement many environmental treatment projects. Currently, KitaKyushu city is very interested in and highly appreciates the policy of developing green industrial parks, making the most of Vietnam's raw materials and energy sources. On the occasion of the Horasis 2019, Mr. Kazuhide Umemoto and members of the delegation look forward to understanding and cooperating with Binh Duong in many fields; at the same time, exchange and learn more experiences about organizing Horasis with Binh Duong, because Binh Duong has successfully hosted the Horasis twice. KitaKyushu city was chosen to host the Horasis 2020 with the theme of reducing environmental pollution.
The meeting
On behalf of Binh Duong provincial leaders, Mr. Mai Hung Dung thanked the Deputy Mayor and the delegation members for visiting and working with Binh Duong. The issue of green growth, building green industrial parks is a global and practical issue. Currently, Binh Duong has more than 3,700 foreign enterprises and over 40,000 domestic enterprises to invest. Due to the rapid industrial development, Binh Duong is very interested and focused on synchronous implementation of many solutions to ensure environmental issues associated with environmental treatment, to meet the requirements of sustainable growth etc. Binh Duong is ready to cooperate and at the same time create favorable conditions for Binh Duong and KitaKyushu businesses (Japan) to strengthen cooperation, especially on environmental treatment.
