Mr. Vo Van Minh Chairman of the PPC had a meeting and exchange with Mr. Tsugumasa Muraoka, Governor of Yamaguchi Prefecture. At the working session, the two sides exchanged views and reached a consensus on plans to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the friendship cooperation relationship between Binh Duong and Yamaguchi Provinces, and at the same time agreed to renew the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), confirming continued cooperation and mutual support in the socio-economic development of the two localities.
Over the past time, in addition to strengthening cooperation and exchanges between leadership delegations, the two sides have enhanced cooperation in many fields such as investment and trade promotion, student exchange, and cooperation in healthcare and agriculture.
In Yamaguchi Prefecture, Chairman Vo Van Minh met with Mr. Yanai Shungaku, Chairman of the Yamaguchi Prefectural Assembly. The two sides affirmed that the signing of the friendly cooperation agreement between the two local councils and the mutual visits and experience exchanges have contributed positively to the electoral activities between the two localities.

The 10th Anniversary Commemoration of the Friendly Cooperation between Binh Duong Province and Yamaguchi Prefecture is scheduled to take place on December 18, 2024, in Binh Duong Province. The event aims to evaluate and summarize the cooperative activities between the two localities and to outline specific cooperation activities for the coming period.

This is a significant step in strengthening the cooperative relationship between Binh Duong Province and Yamaguchi Prefecture ahead of the 10th anniversary of the friendly cooperative relationship between the two localities on December 18, 2024, for the prosperity and development of both localities, thereby contributing to consolidating the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan.
