The Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang Route project is about 48 km long with a scale of 06 lanes, a total roadbed width of 40.5 m, and a designed speed of 80 km/h. It passes through 03 districts: Bac Tan Uyen, Phu Giao, Bau Bang and has a 5 km branch connecting from Tam Lap intersection, Phu Giao district to Dong Phu district, Binh Phuoc province. The starting point of the project is at Tan Thanh intersection with DT746 road of Bac Tan Uyen district, and the endpoint is adjacent to National Highway 13 in Lai Uyen town, Bau Bang district. This is a group B level II traffic project, with a total investment of more than 5,256 billion VND, from the central and Binh Duong province's budget.
The project is a key traffic project of Binh Duong province. Once put into use, it will significantly shorten travel time, reduce transportation costs, meet trade needs and improve freight transport capacity; create new momentum and development space; connect traffic between industrial - urban - service zones in the northern districts with the southern cities of Binh Duong province; connect inter-regionally with Binh Phuoc province and the provinces of the Central Highlands through main traffic axes such as National Highway 13, DH.613, DT.741 connecting National Highway 14, etc.
