According to the Binh Duong Urban planning Institute surveys, Binh Duong province comprises of two services of Inland Clearance Depot (ICD) including Song Than 2 ICD and Tan Van ICD TBS. These are the complete services providing four logistics services such as: goods handling, containers conservation, depot services, and container carriage and customs services. But, Logistics Center does not meet the demands of providing the high quality and high capacity services, connecting among regions.

 

Logistics Center project to be planned and constructed in Binh Thang, Di An Town is necessary to develop homogenously Binh Duong economy because this is the favorable location for logistics services.

 

 

 

Logistics Center once in construction on an area of 100 ha will become the multi –mode of transportation, exploiting goods for different logistics companies serving to regional, national and international market.

 

After analyzing the advantages of the project and participants’ suggestions, Chairman Le Thanh Cung consented radically the policy of constructing the port cluster, Logistics Center in Binh Thang Ward, Di An Town. He also stressed that the project of constructing the port cluster linked to deep sea port and the future airport will facilitate the regional connection. He asked the provincial Urban planning Institute to base on the current situation and regional conditions in order to construct the suitable and effective port cluster, center. Provincial Natural Resources and Environment Department review policies create the conditions for investors to construct the center with the suitable area and capacity approved by provincial People’s Committee.
