The theme for the World Environment Day 2013: “Think, Eat, Save”
The this year’s World Environment Day with theme “Think, Eat, Save” encourages people to pay more attention to impacts of food selection to environment, prevent food waste and choose food that has less influence on environment . This is global campaign to prevent food waste. International activities celebrating World Environment Day 2013 will be held at Mongolia – a country has been converting into green economy, it was held in Hue city in Vietnam in particular.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of People’s Committee Mr. Tran Thanh Liem called departments, units, agencies and citizens for realizing meaning and importance of environmental protection; consider environmental protection as political responsibility of each local, department, unit; all people should increase awareness of selection and usage of food to prevent food waste and use environmentally friendly products in order to protect the environment and for green, clean, beautiful environment.
