On behalf of the Group's leaders, he thanked the Binh Duong provincial government for creating all favorable conditions for LEGO Group to implement the project. In order for the Group to put the factory into operation in June 2024 on schedule, Mr. Preben Enef wished the Binh Duong provincial government and VSIP III to quickly complete the land procedures and create all conditions for the Group to deploy the project as soon as possible. In addition, the problems of connecting to the 110kv grid, deploying solar power are also issues the company cares about and wants the province to support. He suggested the functional branches continue to monitor and regularly organize meetings with the Group to remove obstacles in order to speed up the project progress, especially the land use rights for the Group. Mr. Vo Van Minh requested that right after the meeting today, at the earliest, tomorrow afternoon (January 13), the departments and branches have a meeting with LEGO Group to solve all difficulties and problems that the Group is facing. Binh Duong is making every effort to get the LEGO Group into operation soon. In December 2021, LEGO Group (Denmark)
signed a memorandum of understanding with the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park
(VSIP) Joint Venture Company Limited to invest 1 billion USD to build a factory
in Binh Duong. This is the largest high-tech project since the Covid-19
pandemic invested in Binh Duong. The project uses renewable energy, solar
energy and emissions of international standards, so it has a very positive
impact on the environment and ecosystem. On March 19, 2022 at the Groundbreaking
ceremony of VSIP III, investment license was awarded to LEGO Group. On November
03, 2022, LEGO Group (Denmark) started construction of a factory in
Vietnam-Singapore III Industrial Park (VSIP III).

He said, CapitaLand Group has signed a cooperation agreement with Becamex IDC Corp on the Binh Duong Smart City development project with an investment of more than 500 million USD in Binh Duong New City. The project focuses on developing housing blocks with a total area of 18.9 hectares. It is expected that more than 3,700 apartments and long-term houses will be built at the project including low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise housing, meeting the needs of about 13,000 residents. The construction will be carried out in phases, with the first phase consisting of about 1,300 apartments and houses expected to be completed in 2024. The whole project will be completed in 2027.

Overview of the conference

During the year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at 3 levels mobilized the Fund "For the Poor" and the social security program with over 649 billion VND. In which, the Fund for the Poor mobilized nearly 18 billion VND; agencies, units, organizations, individuals and enterprises directly supported the social security program over 631 billion VND. From the amount to support the Fund "For the Poor", the Relief Fund and social security programs, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have coordinated with member organizations to actively create many sources of capital to support and invest in 15,532 youth union members, members and people to increase production, develop family economy, rise out of poverty, overcome difficulties and stabilize life with an amount of over 476 billion VND; organize free medical examination and treatment and provide free medicines for 23,059 people from families under preferential treatment policy and poor households in the province with an amount of over 9 billion VND; award 3,280 gifts and scholarships to poor and studious students with a total amount of 3.4 billion VND; coordinate to build and repair 184 great solidarity houses worth more than 16 billion VND. The DT.746 road (section from Tan Thanh junction to Hoi Nghia junction) is an important traffic axis connecting Bac Tan Uyen district with neighboring areas. This is the arterial road leading to Vietnam - Singapore III Industrial Park (VSIP III), connecting Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang Road and Ring Road No.4. The project is invested by the Provincial Traffic Construction Projects Investment Management Board, with a road length of 11,434km, the starting point intersecting with DT.746 road (at the junction of Tan Thanh commune, Bac Tan Uyen district) and the end point intersecting with DT.747a road (at the junction of Hoi Nghia ward, Tan Uyen town).  Mr. Tran Hung Viet – Deputy Director of the Provincial Traffic Construction Projects Investment Management Boardinforms about the project Design speed is 80 km/h for sections outside the urban area and 50-60 km/h for sections through urban areas. The roadbed is 38m wide, arranged for 6 lanes, the median strip, the safety strip and the roadside is paved with sidewalk tiles for the section through the urban area, and covered with a 25cm thick red gravel structure for the section outside the urban area. The road is arranged with a full lighting system, road painting, and signs. The total investment is 1,492.33 billion VND from the state budget, of which the cost of construction is 489.6 billion VND, the cost of site clearance compensation is 866 billion VND. The investment in the road construction will shorten time of travel and goods transportation to important traffic hubs such as Long Thanh airport, Thi Vai port, Cai Mep port, contributing to traffic safety, socio-economic development, attracting investment of the locality in particular and the region in general.
