Binh Duong: Supported and gave Tet presents to more than 1.700 children in difficult circumstances

PORTAL – On the afternoon of January 25, at the Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, the Binh Duong Provincial Sponsoring Council of Children's Fund organized the 17th "Spring with Disadvantaged Children" program – 2024.

The program was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Loc – Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Nguyen Minh Thuy - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee; Ms. Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong – Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan - Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly Deputies and a thousand of disadvantaged and disabled children and orphans.

Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council presented the Gratitude Board to benefactors who have accompanied the Binh Duong Provincial Children's Fund.

 

Mr. Trinh Duc Tai – Director of the Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs received the sign representing the amount of sponsorship from benefactors.

The program was organized yearly to express the attention of the Provincial Party and Authorities to disadvantaged children and help them make their dreams come true. This was also an occasion to express gratitude to the sponsors and benefactors who accompanied children in difficult circumstances in the province for many years.

 

Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council gave a speech at the program.

Giving a speech at the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc said that the "Spring with Disadvantaged Children" program in 2024 was to help children in difficult circumstances have a happy and complete spring. Through the program, children in special circumstances, children from poor and near-poor households, and worker families in the industrial zones would have a more warmly traditional Tet.


 The Provincial leaders took souvenir photos with sponsors.

Although the economic situation was facing a lot of difficulties, organizations, agencies, and businesses inside and outside the province still gave disadvantaged children warm love and many meaningful presents through sponsor programs of the Provincial Children's Fund. On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc acknowledged and thanked organizations and individuals for their gratitude and dedicated support for difficult children in Binh Duong province. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized that protecting, caring for, and educating children were important strategies to build and develop humans. He wanted agencies, organizations, businesses, and sponsors to continue supporting these deeply meaningful activities in the coming time.

Representatives of children from 9 localities in the province and the Social Protection Facilities received signs of symbolic support.

On this occasion, the Provincial Children's Fund received sponsorships from organizations, and individuals to implement many humane activities such as Free heart surgery, smile surgery, a program for children's eyes, and long-term sponsorships for children who have become orphaned due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, 1,720 Tet presents for children were given to Social Protection facilities. Long-term sponsorships for children who have become orphaned due to the COVID-19 pandemic and children in difficult circumstances with a total cost of more than 2.1 billion VND.
